Webwise 2017 Parenting Survey

This project, in conjunction with Webwise, the Irish Internet Safety Awareness Centre, and the

National Parents Council Primary (NPC) undertook an online survey with a sample of 1500 parents

with a focus on 1) Strategies for digital parenting; 2) Attitudes towards children’s internet use; 3)

Concerns about online risks; and 4) Appropriate age for social networking. The report was

launched as part of Safer Internet Day 2017.
